    2. What A Book Definitely pick this one up, guys After reading two of Sarina Bowen s books in less than a week, I ve learned that she is an author I can absolutely count on, to provide interesting, different, rich and fulfilling stories After reading the first book in the Gravity series, Coming in From the Cold, I immediately opened this one up Like the first book, I was immediately pulled into the world of an elite athlete facing horrible circumstances, and the woman who lifts him up, and loves hi [...]

    3. 4.25 StarsI loved this I really did I have a soft spot for disabled characters and Sarina does such a wonderful job writing them When I read The Year We Feel Down, it was the first time I ever read a book where the main character had a SCI I was blown away by her attention to detail when describing how different everyday activities are so vastly different to someone with a SCI I was not expecting her to go there again, but was delighted to see the different perspective with the survivor being th [...]

    4. Falling from the Sky generously provided by the author in exchange for an honest review 5 Bright Pink Hat StarsSarina Bowen writes about tough circumstances in her characters lives, part melancholy but most of all hopeful She writes with clarity and grace, a solid foundation for her plots, executed beautifully in Falling from the Sky This is an excellent read, a love rooted in simplicity for the heroine, an instinctual feeling The hero becomes a man who makes her feel alive as rises from the dar [...]

    6. 05 26 2015 I tried another series by Sarina Bowen This is the second in the series, but it sounded good and fit my mood of the moment It was good, but not quite what The Ivy Years series has been for me so far Not going to spend much time on the review but will say, it was good Not amazing or exceptional which has been my experience with this author so far, but good. The first scene in this book grabs you You want to know this Hank person You want to know what s behind his eyes and why he appears [...]

    7. 5 Hazardous StarsI am so into this series This is the second book can be read as a standalone but the first book was awesome, so if you haven t read it I would highly recommend it and focuses on Hank Hazardous Lazarus this has to be one of the best hero names ever and Dr Callie Anders Hank is a friend of Dane from the first book and Callie was the fabulous best friend of Willow from the same novel In the previous story, Callie was portrayed as loyal, vivacious and sweet and this continued here b [...]

    8. While better than the first one, which wasn t hard since that one was awful, it still didn t have the magic I expect from Bowen I don t think I ll be reading the thrid book either This series just isn t for me, I guess

    9. Even though Falling From The Sky is the second book in the Gravity Series by Sarina Bowen, it is the first one that I read when I started the series in print a few years ago It s so great to be able to listen to some of my favorite books on audio as they re being produced I feel like I ve crossed my fingers and made wishes for an audio Gravity Series for years and now I m like a kid at Christmas. We meet Callie in the first book as Willow s best friend It s awesome to listen to her story as she g [...]

    10. 3.5 starsReview coming soon I have a giveaway for this book going on my blog, feel free to enter elliereadsfictionNow that the giveaway is over, here is my full review, posted also on my blog Ellie Reads FictionSarina Bowen s Ivy Years series was one of the nicest surprises in my reading last year I loved her New Adult romances and was excited to try her adult romance series Gravity, as well Further I have a soft spot for sports romance and what better time to read about a snowboarder falling in [...]

    11. I am just loving this series and author Hank Hazardous Lazarus is a hot snowboarder and friend of Dane from Book 1 He just had the chance to meet Callie Willow s friend and a doctor before competing Then he crashes during the snowboarding competition man heart was on the floorh He forgets even meeting Callie this comes into play later for Callie s feelings He is rushed to the hospital and here begins the story of his recovery and reawakening And wouldn t you know it, Callie is there to help him [...]

    12. omg i love hank I LOVED the Ivy Years series by this author, so of course I want to read everything else by Sarina Bowen Gravity book 1 was good But this book, it grabbed my attention and sucked me in Hank is a sexy snowboarder competing in the Olympics He s a risk taker And he s a bit of a man whore Callie meets Hank long enough to discern that he is sex on a snowboard and out of her league And watch him fall Watching reading this masculine, athletic man deal with this life changing accident wa [...]

    13. This wonderful romance second in a series but easily read as a standalone is the story of Hank and Callie Hank s career as an Olympic medallist snowboarder ends abruptly in an accident, one that Callie witnesses Part of his recovery team in the immediate aftermath of the accident, they meet again month s later and when Hank insists she be part of the study team for a new and untried therapy she is excited to be part of the trial As the attraction between them deepens, both will have to face thei [...]

    14. Rating 3.5Unfortunately Falling from the Sky didn t live to my expectations Don t get me wrong, I liked it It was very enjoyable book with great characters and steamy romance But I loved Coming in From the Cold and I expected the second book to blow me away So my high expectations were my problem, if I haven t read Coming in From the Cold right before Falling from the Sky I wouldn t have these complaints at all But I ve read it I couldn t help myself but compare these books I know that Sarina Bo [...]

    15. This was not really a great read for me I didn t really feel the love I didn t like Hank, Callie was all over the place and the relationship felt constructed and bloodless to me Kudos that the author left Hank with his handicap, but somehow this didn t help Especially after the first impression the reader got of Hank I think I will abandon the series at this point.

    16. Sarina continues to impress me every time I read one of her books I know I m going to be getting a quality story with real life scenarios and people I had to fight my body to stay awake and finish this book so the rest will have to come later

    17. Really liked this one from an author that s making my favorite shelf Again, like bk 1 of this series, just wish this story had been longer too.

    19. Holly I think the blurb outlines the story pretty well, so there s no need to recap.I ve been in a weird contemporary funk lately, so I wasn t sure if I was going to be able to read this book when I started it I m really glad I gave it at try, though, since it ended up being really good.Rowena I think I was getting close to burning out on paranormals so I took a break from them and picked up some contemporary NA This one came up and I was so glad that I picked it up because Bowen delivered anoth [...]

    20. A sweet, slow moving surprise I never expected to like this as much as I did, after the first book, Coming in from the Cold, left me, well, cold I really disliked the hero and story from Coming in the Cold but was kinda intrigued by Willow s friend Callie who is the heroine in Falling from the Sky A best friend who isn t slutty, silly, or an obvious plot device Sign me up Callie and Hank shouldn t have worked together and yet, I loved their bumpy road to each other The author treated Hank s inju [...]

    21. 1.5 starsThis book was boring, I mean seriously booorrring, like I would stop every few pages just to stare at the ceiling because that was infinitely interesting that what was going on in these pages The heroine, Callie, literally had zero personalityke nothing I could NOT understand what the hero, Hank, saw in her at all Course he was so vanilla and bland, that perhaps they were the perfect couple Even the sexy was sleep inducing I couldn t even work up the energy to hate either of them when [...]

    22. I really appreciate what the author was trying to do with this story, particularly in terms of representing people with disabilities which is desperately needed in all genres , but there was something I can t put my finger on that didn t work in this story I see that s it s generally reviewed very highly, so YMMV etc.

    23. Hank was just hot even with what happens to him, in these stories there is always hero or heroine with issues Both have issues but one has major issues in this one it The Heroine that over thinks everything Sarina writing still had me hooked even when I was feeling frustrated.Seriously professional skiers or snow boards yummy

    24. 3.5 Stars I like Sarina Bowen s books but this one was a little hard for me to read because my brother was paralyzed in an accident and this brought back a lot of painful memories I do look forward to the reading the next book Keep up the great work Sarina.

    25. This was by far my favorite of Ms Bowen s Gravity series Callie and Hank were a hit I enjoyed reading every bit of their reluctant relationship form There s no deus ex machina here Just a sweet, strong story of love and healing.
